Ferguson P99

In the hands of motorsport legend Sir Stirling Moss the Ferguson FWD became the only four-wheel drive car ever to win a Formula 1 level race, when it won the 1961 Oulton Park Gold Cup.

Due to various reasons the car never took off on the circuits but it was tailor-made for the hills, and it’s combination of lightweight, F1 power and total traction took Peter Westbury to the 1964 BHC title.

We spotted this wonderfully original old warhorse at a recent HGPCA test day at Silverstone.
