Benefits of a Long Day

Drivers competing at Shelsley Walsh at the weekend only received 2 runs each on Sunday (for non Run Off contenders) which makes for a very long day of hillclimbing. However, there are benefits to this as ‘wee hairy’ Les Mutch proves.

1/ You can take some time to offer knowledge and encouragement to competitors who are running later in the program.

2/ You can relax in the paddock, and watch the world go by whilst chilling out with an ice cream.

Ignoring his 250 mile drive home in order to watch the end of the meeting proves, as if it was in any doubt, that Les is a true enthiusiast of the sport. Good on ya Les!
