Breakthrough for Goodyear

DJ Firehawk driver Jos Goodyear bounced back from his ‘off’ at Shelsley Walsh last weekend to take FTD at Harewood hillclimb yesterday. Jos was one of several drivers who missed Barbon Manor in order to get some practice in at Harewood prior to today’s British Hillclimb Championship round at the hill. With new front suspension, and using a nosecone & wing borrowed from Alex Summers, the Goodyear family’s hard work this week was repaid.

Also at the event, and making their first appearance of the season, were the Tomlin family. Glamorous Granny Sandra and son Oliver were shaking down their familiar Pilbeam MP97 which has been completely rebuilt since Olly’s shunt at Prescott last September.
