Familiar Faces Return to Gurston – Part 2

The second former driver making a hillclimb comeback at Gurston Down next weekend is former Triumph TR8 driver Pete Tyler.

Pete still holds with unlimited Marque Sports class record at the Wiltshire hill, after hurling his wild TR to the top of the hill in 33.97s in July 1997.

He has had a good few years away from competition, but has been persuaded to return by Gurston committee member and Lotus shopper Ben Stapely. Pete is having a run-out in Ben’s rorty Datsun 240Z.

Have a great time Pete, it’s good to see you back.
