Historic Shelsley

The Sunday leg of Shelsley’s summer weekend was for classic and historic cars.

Despite the potential entry being a few hundred cars short, due to a clash with the Silverstone Classic event a good and varied entry tackled the historic Worcestershire hill.

Unsurprising FTD came from the 1960-1980 Racing Cars class. Martin Jones and former Midland Champion Peter Cox headed the field in their pair of Rover V8 powered Chevron F2 cars.

Driving the B48 owned by Keith ‘arris, Jones led throughout and eventually pulled out nearly 0.5s over Cox’s ex. Russ Ward B42.
