Gould GR59 on display at Goodridge HQ

Last week one of the newest top-line hillclimb cars on the scene formed part of a display for a Motorsport Industry Association event down in Devon.

The MIA is the world’s leading trade association for the motorsport, performance engineering, services and tuning sectors. As part of their general business operations the MIA hold Business Networking Days at selected member’s facilities about once a month or so.

Last Monday saw Goodridge Ltd, a long-term MIA partner, host a networking event at their International Head Quarters in Exeter, Devon.

In order to help promote their company activities to MIA members, local press and HQ staff Goodridge organised a small showcase of some of their customers and partners products. This showcase featured vehicles from motor racing, motorcycle racing, military, off-road, automotive and motorcycle markets. Included in this showcase was Paul Haimes’ Gould-Suzuki GR59 which makes extensive use of Goodridge products and which will run with Goodridge logos when it is finally painted over this winter.

Also on display at the event were the following Goodridge supplied vehicles:
- McLaren MP4-12C Spider road-car
- BMW R1200GS 2013 road-bike
- Caterham R300 road-car
- Supacat HMT400 ‘Jackal’ military vehicle
- Alto Performance Rage Superbike
- QT Services Wildcat rally raid car
