National Hillclimb Association

One of the most popular areas of Speed Hillclimbing in the UK is one that we haven’t covered as yet on, the bikers !

The National Hillclimb Association run motorcycle hillclimbs all across the UK, both as support events to the cars and as stand alone competitions.

These daring lads and ladies are amongst the most spectacular competitors at any hillclimb and are seriously fast with the riders coming from vastly different racing backgrounds including motocross, super moto, speedway and road racing.

Our bike correspondent Susie J has sent us the following images from the recent Hartland Quay Hillclimb on the North Devon coast. Hartland is a bike only venue which bookends the season with events in April and October.

Find out more about the National Hillclimb Association at their club website.

I attended the hill climb at Hartland this weekend (2/10/11) great event, I have a number of good photographs of the riders, would you like a copy CD the images and if so where would I send them to.
