National Motorsport Week

2011 sees the 6th consecutive National Motorsport Week, this is a Motorsport Industry Association initiative which generates funds for good causes to develop the UK Motorsport Industry and the sport in general.

The aim of NMW is to allow the general public and casual viewer to experience the excitement and drama of motorsport. This will allow the sport to tap into new audiences and eventually new marshals and new competitors.

National Motorsport Week will be running from 25th June until 3rd July, 2011 when many special events will be taking place, including ALL of the UK-based F1 teams opening their factory doors to the general public for guided tours.

Several Speed Hillclimbs are running events over NMW, including events at Prescott, Shelsley Walsh, Forestburn, Tregrehan, Cairncastle, Mamhead and the July Harewood BHC round.

To find out how you, or your event, can take part in National Motorsport Week and promote our sport to new audiences then please contact the MIA.
