Soaking Shelsley – The Classes

Whilst the big boys were attempting to qualify for the Top 12 Shootouts at The World Famous Shelsley Walsh, the class runners were chasing hard for Leaders and Midland championship points. Wet conditions can often throw up some surprise results and this weekend was no exception.

May Shelsley Review

There was a slightly strange atmosphere at the Midland Automobile Clubs season opener at Shelsley Walsh last week. Maybe after the excitement and anticipation of the opening round of the British Hillclimb Championship last weekend, this event was a little of an anticlimax, maybe it was that the weather was pleasant and (after Prescott’s deluge) we were all grateful for that? Whatever it was, the action on the hill was fast and furious.

May Midlander at Shelsley

The Shelsley Walsh hillclimb season begins this weekend with the traditional Midland Hillclimb Championship weekend.
