Another Gould for 2014

Possibly the biggest new car story of the winter so far has just broken! It is the news that there will be a third Gould GR59 hitting the hills during the 2014 season.

This will not be a customer car as we have seen with the 2-litre class runners for the Moyse family and for Paul Haimes, but a works development car being built for the Gould family.

Empire’s Extra Effort!

There are a large number of new or modified cars underway in workshops all over the United Kingdom as the hillclimb world prepares for the 2014 season.

Eddie Expects Epic Empire!

We are pleased to reveal, after a couple of months of negotiation and planning, that two of the Westcountry’s most successful hillclimb exponents are joining forces for an attack on theĀ 1600cc Racing Car class in 2014.

Ed’s Extra Effort

Ed Hollier’s double FTD at Gurston Down over the weekend was the culmination of a serious amount of graft over the winter.

Along with his ever supportive Father Bob, Ed has painstakingly developed the aluminium honeycombe chassised Pilbeam MP62 from the starting point that first hit the hills at the start of the 2012 season.
