Party in the Park!

The final event of the 2014 British Hillclimb Championship season took place at Loton Park in Shropshire at the weekend and provided everything that is good about our wonderful sport.

Loton Park Hillclimb

A healthy crowd enjoyed a great day at Loton Park.

Double Dry Doune!?

The penultimate round of the British Hillclimb Championship season took place at Doune in Scotland at the weekend and, after the record-breaking bonanza at the hill in June, miraculously this latest event was warm and sunny yet again!

Different colour, same result for Team Moran.

As well as seeing a number of class records set over the weekend, we also crowned our 2014 British Champion. And what’s more, he did it with a time just a couple of tenths or so away from Martin Grove’s long-held Outright Hill Record at The World Famous venue.

Event Round-up…. Craigantlet

The second and final offshore event of the championship season, at Craigantlet Hill on the outskirts of Belfast, Northern Island saw a very small entry of National runners line-up for the public road course in what can only be described as Biblical conditions…

Craigantlet Hillclimb

Conditions were very tricky, but mostly consistent, at the once a year Ulster venue.

During the morning of the one-day event, it rained and rained and rained some more!
