shc.com Film Night 23

We are having a special speedhillclimb.com Film Night this week. As Mr Editor has been in Barcelona this week, attending the Rally de Espana WRC event with the M Sport team, we thought that we would have a look at a modern rallying film on the tube.

For the past couple of years, the Word Rally Championship has been dominated by the Volkswagen Motorsport team with Sebastien Ogier, Jari-Matti Latvala and Andreas Mikkelsen. The weeks speedhillclimb.com Film Night looks across the Atlantic Ocean to the ‘good old boys’ of the North American Stock Car Auto Racing series, usually known as NASCAR.

SHC.com Film Night 18

This weeks installment of the speedhillclimb.com Film Night is a pretty special one. Throughout this series, which has run over the past couple of years, we have featured films from professional motorsport covering amazing films or topical subjects.

For the latest chapter however, we will have a look at our very own sport of Speed Hillclimbing. In recent years we have celebrated the promotion and entertainment that our sport has been granted by TV shows producing sections of their programs looking at our dramatic discipline of motorsport. Whist becoming ever more frequent, this is not a new trend so let’s have a look back at some of the hillclimbing films produced over the past couple of decades.
