Thomas on Top in Teme Valley!

Last weekend saw the final events of the season at Shelsley Walsh as The World Famous venue hosted a pair of single-day club events.

A healthy entry on each day was the result of several Championships running at the venue, as well as many club drivers taking the opportunity to compete on the hallowed slopes of the oldest mainland hillclimb venue.

Perfect Prescott

Prescott Hillclimb in Gloucestershire was the host for the final headline hillclimb event on the mainland for 2013 with a pair of one day events on 5th & 6th of October.

The competitive events ran alongside the Prescott American Autumn Classic event at the Cotswolds hill, and the contrasting sight of racing cars and fairground rides in the paddock was a bit of a shock to the system at first, but made for a fantastic family day out.

Prescott Completes The Season

The final mainland hillclimb events of the 2012 season took place last weekend at the Bugatti Owners Club’s Prescott Hillclimb, near Cheltenham.

Themed weekends are becoming a popular part of the Prescott calendar these days and, hot on the heels of the Le Vie en Bleu weekend back in May, this is the American weekend.

Bike-Engines Clean Up

The pair of clubby events at Loton Park at the weekend produced some results which were somewhat against the formbook.

Most observers would have expected the V6 engined Pilbeam MP88s of Mike Tregoning and George Bleasdale or the TKD V8 OMS of Tim Elmer to lead the way, however things didn’t go according to plan for the big-hitters…
