The Big One is Here!

The Gurston Down 1000 meeting, with it’s large cash prize, is now upon us.

This is the first time that the venue has held a round of the Midland Hillclimb Championship, will one the MHC contenders take the prize or will it be one of the Gurston regulars? Everyone has an opinion on who they think will get it.

We reckon that amongst the Midland runners Audi drivers Keith Murray and Roger Banks have a good chance in the Mod Saloon classes and Rob Stevens could unleash his supercharged horses in Sports Libre.

The top locals are likely to be Dylan Ferrett who’ll be chasing Peter Marsh’s road-going record with his Evo, whilst Antony Orchard could have a stab at the Mod Kit Car record in his Westfield.

Well, our predictions are now out there! What are yours?
