Paul Gibson’s Vision marque was founded in the early 1980s with the sole intention of usurping Mallock’s strangle-hold of Clubmans Racing. The cars are more high-tech than the Mallock, featuring round-tube spaceframes and period F3 uprights and suspension design as well as theoretically more advanced aerodynamics. However, the Major’s ingenuity kept the Mallock competitive and huge battles raged across the country between the two constructors.
