Onboard Guide to Shelsley Walsh

Shelsley Walsh is a tough hill to learn because it’s all about carrying as much speed up the hill as possible – so every single corner is critical. And those corners that look easy on the map, they’re not when you get to them.

Below we’ve pulled together 5 onboard videos of runs up Shelsley, each featuring a different driver competing in a different class. Not all of these are perfect runs – so it’s both a chance to see how Shelsley Walsh should be driven, and how Shelsley shouldn’t!

Our apologies for any inappropriate language!

Road Car – Paul Harris (Ferrari 308GTB)

Sports Car – Richard Meadon (Aston Martin V12 Vantage)

Sports Racer – Mike Endean (Puma Gould 4×4)

Bike-Engined Car – Adam Steel (Martlett-Suzuki)

Unlimited Single-Seater – Graeme Wight Jnr

Hopefully these videos will help you get to grips with Shelsley Walsh, both what to do and what not to do! Why not have a look at some of our other Onboard Guides?
